1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By accessing and using IITR Hub, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. Access to certain features of this platform requires verified authentication as a student or alumni. You must be at least 17 years old to use this platform.

2. Intellectual Property

The IITR Hub platform itself—including its original code, design, features, functionality, and branding—is the exclusive intellectual property of the creators of IITR Hub and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

3. Content Ownership & License Grant

Users retain full ownership of any content they post or upload on the platform. By posting content, you grant IITR Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and limited license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and displaying the platform to other users.

4. Prohibited Content & User Conduct

You agree to use IITR Hub only for lawful purposes. The following behaviors and content are strictly prohibited:

• Posting or transmitting unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or explicit material.
• Uploading malware, viruses, or attempting to compromise platform security.
• Engaging in unauthorized scraping, data mining, or automated data extraction.
• Harassing or disrupting the experience of other users.
• Sharing your account credentials with unauthorized individuals or bypassing authentication measures.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

IITR Hub is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to our platform, and we are not responsible for any downtime, inaccuracies, or loss of data.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall IITR Hub, its creators, developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the platform; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the platform; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Account Suspension & Appeals

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms. If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may appeal the decision by emailing iitrhub@gmail.com.

8. Policy Updates Notification

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. When material changes are made, we will actively notify all registered users via email. Your continued use of the platform after such notifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, IT Rules 2021, and the laws of India. Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India.
